Run With Your Dog, Not Against the Leash

A Note From a Running Buddy (and Their Dog)

Running With My Dog Used to Mean Choosing Between a Real Run and Staying in Control.

I love running with my dog. What I didn't love was the tradeoff — either I ran at half-speed, arm awkwardly bent holding the leash steady, or I let her pull and spent the whole run fighting to keep pace and control at the same time.

Switching to a hands-free waist leash changed that math completely. The leash clips at my waist, the bungee cord absorbs her pulls without yanking my arm out of stride, and my hands are free to actually run — full arm swing, real pace, the kind of run I used to have before she came along.

It's not about going easier on her or on me. It's about not having to pick one or the other anymore.

If you've been quietly settling for slower miles because running with your dog and running well felt like two different things, this is what closes that gap.

What's actually in it

  • Adjustable waist belt with quick-release buckle
  • Double bungee elastic cord that absorbs pulls mid-stride
  • Padded handle grip for extra control when you need it
  • Reflective stitching for visibility on early or late runs
